BMW have announced Australian specifications and pricing for the 2017 M4 CS. You can read about the M4 CS details here.

The 2017 M4 CS will serve as the top-of-the-line model in what is an already expanded M4 range.

This model marks the return of the CS nameplate, it has sat dormant since being used in the UK market E46 Series M3 CS in 2005.

The 2017 BMW M4 CS has been priced at $211,610 plus on-road costs. A premium of $71,710 over the standard M4.

For the additional coin, the M4 CS gets a slight power increase. The 3.0-litre twin-turbo petrol is tuned to output 338kW/600Nm.

A seven-speed dual-clutch transmission sends power to the rear wheels, unfortunately, there is no manual option for the purists.

BMW claims a 0 to 100km/h sprint can be done in 3.9 seconds and an electronically-limited top speed of 280km/h.

For those who put some value on the Nurburgring Nordschleife lap time, BMW claims 7m38s was all that was needed for the M4 CS to complete the circuit.

BMW has put some effort into differentiating the interior of the M4 CS, there is good use of Alcantara on the seats and dash to provide a sporty, yet luxurious feel.
