Availability and pricing have been confirmed for the 2017 BMW X5 M and X6 M Black Fire Editions.
If Bruce Wayne decided to switch to an SUV, surely this would be it. The exterior styling is rather aggressive with its dark theme. Black paint, 21-inch black alloys, a blacked-out kidney grille and dark carbon fibre mirror caps will make it hard to miss.
On the inside, the M seats are trimmed in fine-grain Merino leather which is finished in black and red. There are some classy touches by way of contrasting red stitching on the armrests, centre console, instrument panel, door trims and door pulls.
Alcantara has been used for the headliner and steering wheel. Another exclusive touch is the Black Fire signets.
There is no change to the drive train over the cars in standard form. Both are powered by a 4.4-litre V8 packing 424kW and 750Nm. Should you need to chase the Joker through the streets of Gotham, both SUVs can hit 100km/h in 4.2 seconds.
Unfortunately, you will need access to Bruce Wayne’s bank account and contact list to get a Black Fire Edition. The X5 M is priced at $205,900 (prices before on-roads), while the X6 M comes in at $214,800.
Numbers are limited, only 25 Black Fire Editions have been earmarked for Australia, with 15 X5 M and 10 X6 Ms being made available.
