Great Wall Motors Australia has bolstered its Steed ute range with the addition of a single cab model. The Steed single cab, available in 4x2 and 4x4 specification is priced from $18,990 drive away for ABN holders.
Both 4x2 and 4x4 variants will be powered by the same 2.0-litre diesel engine found in the dual cab Steed, producing 110kW and 310Nm through a six-speed manual transmission.
The Steed single cab is rated to carry a 1198kg payload, while the towing capacity comes in at a respectable 1700 kilograms.
Interestingly, the new Steed comes fitted with a locally manufactured aluminium tray, measuring 2400mm long by 1777mm wide, with drop sides for easy loading.
On the inside, the Steed gets cloth fabric seats, air-conditioning and an auto-dimming rear vision mirror.
In terms of safety, the single cab Steed comes standard with dual airbags, ABS brakes, Bosch ESP stability control, hill hold control and tyre pressure monitoring.
The Steed single cab is available now at Great Wall dealerships around Australia.
