A new fuel-efficient diesel engine has been added to the 2018 Holden Equinox range, the new oiler officially goes on sale nationally this May priced from $35,990 plus on-road costs.
The diesel engine will be a 1.6-litre turbo unit that produces 100kW of power and 320Nm of torque. It will be mated with a six-speed automatic transmission with a choice of front- or all-wheel drive.
Claimed fuel consumption of a combined cycle comes in at a sharp 5.6L/100km.
Holden will offer the diesel engine in the LS+, LT, LTZ and LTZ-V variants, only the entry-level LS misses out. You can read our full specs and pricing article here.
The diesel Equinox is also offered with a seven-year/unlimited kilometre warranty plus seven years roadside assist until June 2018.
