The 2019 Range Rover line-up has been bolstered by a new engine option and improved driver assistance technology.
Headlining the upgrades is the inclusion of a new 3.0-litre twin-turbo SDV6 diesel engine which offers 12kW more than the outgoing TDV6 3.0-litre unit at 202kw of power and 625Nm of torque. Consumption figures are reported at 7.7L/100km.
A 4.4-litre SDV8 diesel option is also available mated with an enhanced eight-speed automatic transmission and the P400e plug-in hybrid (PHEV) variant which was introduced last year.
The PHEV system offers an all-electric range of up to 51km and can utilise the navigation system to calculate the most energy efficient route.
In terms of safety tech, adaptive cruise control with stop & go has been added. The system works to maintain a set distance from the car in front even slowing to a stop and pulling away again.
Adaptive cruise control with steering assist is also available which works to keep the vehicle centred in the lane with moderate steering adjustments automatically made.
The upgraded MY19 Range Rover line-up is available now priced from $194,535 plus on-road costs.
