Specifications and pricing have been confirmed for the streamlined 2019 Volkswagen Golf range.
The range has been consolidated from 19 to 12 permanent variants for 2019, all of which are due to reach local dealerships no later than November.
Some models have been deleted as a consequence of the new WLTP testing in Europe. The Golf Trendline 110TSI now opens the range at $24,990 plus on-road costs for the manual version, opting for the DSG adds $2500.
Selected new variants sold from today to December 31 will be offered with drive-away pricing and will be covered by Volkswagen’s promotional five-year, unlimited kilometre warranty.
The Golf remains one of Volkswagen’s most successful models Down Under. A total of 15,807 Golf hatches, wagons and Alltracks have sold in 2018 to September 30 - up more than 2000 units on the same period in 2017.
