As part of the 2018 plate clearance, Haval has announced it will offer a seven-year unlimited kilometre warranty until December 31.
Prior to this promotion, Haval backed its cars with a five-year/100,000km warranty.
Haval points out, it isn’t using a third-party insurer to underwrite the longer coverage, the seven-year promotional warranty is factory-backed.
Commercial buyers also get the seven-year warranty, however, there is a 150,000km cap.
It’s becoming trendy to beef up warranty coverage, Holden, Ford, Honda and Mazda have all permanently increased their respective warranty length, while Volkswagen is trialling longer coverage for the remainder of 2018.
