Hyundai has confirmed its new i30 Fastback N will be launched in Australia next year.
The i30 Fastback N will join the i30 N hatch and the Veloster N in Hyundai’s performance stable.
At present, the car is undergoing performance and durability testing at the company’s technical centre at the Nurburgring.
Details are limited, however, it isn’t a stretch to suggest Australian delivered models will continue with the ‘Performance’ tune of the 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine that produces 202kW of power and 353Nm of torque (378Nm on overboost).
The new i30 Fastback N will be unveiled later this year and will be launched in Australia in 2019. Full specifications and pricing will be will be announced later this year.
