The 221kW 2.0-litre four-cylinder Ingenium petrol engine produces 400Nm of torque and allows the Velar to accelerate from 0-100km/h in 6.0 seconds.
This is the same Ingenium engine that will also be available in Jaguar’s MY2018 XE, XF and F-PACE Models.
Australian specifications and pricing for the 221kW Velar are yet to be released, however, the car is expected to be on sale locally in December.
