Mitsubishi Motors has announced that a new national headquarters will be constructed at Adelaide Airport and will be ready to move into from late 2020.

The manufacturer has searched far and wide to find a suitable head office location with interstate locations also considered, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation COO, Trevor Mann, stated that Adelaide Airport was the ‘smart choice for the future of the business’.

“MMAL is successful in Australia and we know that the workforce are a key factor in that success, which is why we are keeping the national headquarters in South Australia, and creating a new facility located within the Adelaide Airport precinct to ensure MMAL can more efficiently support its dealers and staff interstate, “ said Mr Mann.

The state-of-the-art facility has been planned to provide easier access for teams across Australia to collaborate with the main hub. Interstate dealers and staff should have easier access to attend conferences and utilise training facilities.

MMAL CEO, John Signoriello said, “MMAL is a national team that relies on collaboration with our regional staff and dealers to get our job done, therefore Adelaide Airport proved to be the logical place for our new headquarters.”

Mr Mann and Mr Signoriello also met with South Australian Premier Steven Marshall MP and thanked the state government for their support and the $2 million grant for the construction and fit out of the new facility.

The new headquarters construction will begin in 2019 with completion expected by 2020.
