On the back of the announcement that the new 3008 family SUV has hit the Australian market, Peugeot has recently announced that they have rolled back the dollar figure on selected models across both the passenger and SUV range.
Under the distribution of Inchcape Australian, an effort to lift sales is being made. As of August 4, 2017, Peugeot Automobiles Australia has reduced the price on both the 208 hatch and 2008 SUV by 3-5 per cent.
The 2008 Active and Allure models have dropped by $1000, with the GT Line now $1490 cheaper.
The adjustment of pricing across the 208 hatch range has seen the Active drop by $300, with the Allure and GT Line variants being reduced by $1300 each. The 208 GTi has remained at $29,990.
Select metallic and special paints also saw a reduction in price from $990 to between $590 and $690 depending on the colour. Peugeot suggests that this may entice buyers to tick a few more boxes on the options list.

Let’s start a Car Conversation, will price reductions such as these make the Peugeot range more enticing for Australian buyers?
