The 2018 Goodwood Festival of Speed will host a unique auction of a specially designed Mini with the proceeds going to charity.

Oliver Heilmer, Head of Mini Design, and his team created the special one-off car for the recent wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Duke and Duchess of Sussex. It was then presented to the non-profit organisation Children’s HIV Association (CHIVA), which is one of the charities the couple supports.

Making the Mini unique and paying homage to the couple and their wedding, some special design features include the amalgamation of the US and UK flags on the roof and a ‘Just Married’ welcome message that appears on the ground when the doors are opened.

The exclusive three-door Mini will be up for grabs for the highest bidder on July 13, 2018.

Mini will also be presenting two design studies at the 2018 Festival of Speed. The Mini Electric Concept and the Mini John Cooper Works GP Concept, which were unveiled at the 2017 International Motor Show in Frankfurt, will be available for the general public to get a close up look at.

The first fully-electric Mini production model is scheduled to arrive in 2019.
