Volkswagen has released details of its Touareg Adventure Special Edition.
According to the German marque, the Touareg Adventure Special Edition has a focus on functionality and value with unique equipment for touring and rough road driving.
The Touareg Adventure is based on the 180TDI variant. It’s powered by a 180kW/550Nm diesel engine that’s paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
There are some unique features that help differentiate the Adventure from the existing Touareg range. Standard equipment includes 19-inch Salvador alloy wheels, unique bi-xenon headlights, Vienna leather seat upholstery, adaptive cruise control which incorporates life-saving front assist technology with City Emergency Braking and standard fitted roof racks.
Buyers can further individualise their car with towing and touring accessories packs.
Targeted to those in the lifestyle segment, the Touareg Adventure also comes with air suspension for tackling the rough stuff and a 100-litre fuel tank.
There are four exterior colour options: Pure White, Canyon Grey Metallic, Deep Black Pearl and a new colour exclusive to the special edition model, Sand Gold Metallic.
The value proposition is strong, the Touareg Adventure is priced at $79,990 plus on-roads.
Customers can order the Touareg Adventure now, with cars arriving in dealerships in May.
