Alfa Romeo has announced local specifications and pricing for the 2019 Stelvio Quadrifoglio with the performance SUV to start at $149,900 plus on-road costs.
Powering the range-topping Stelvio Quadrifoglio is a 2.9L V6 Bi-Turbo petrol engine producing 375kW of power at 6500 rpm and 600Nm of torque from 2500rpm. The 0-100km/h sprint is clocked at 3.8 seconds on the way to a top speed of 283km/h.
A specifically calibrated eight-speed automatic transmission, co-developed with ZF, takes care of the shifts. Torque can be sent to all wheels via the Q4 all-wheel drive system, however, under normal conditions, the majority of the drive is sent to the rear axle.
Other features include one-piece aluminium paddle shifters, Alfa DNA Drive Mode Selector (dynamic, natural, advanced efficiency and race), Alfa chassis domain control unit, Alfa active torque vectoring and an AlfaLink suspension system.
On the outside, the Stelvio Quadrifoglio gets structural bonnet vents, large body-coloured side-skirts, four exhaust tips and 20-inch forged alloy wheels.
The sporty exterior is reflected inside the cabin through aluminium, carbon fibre, natural leather and Alcantara materials. Highlights include eight-way power front seats with power bolsters and heating, leather/Alcantara seats with sport foam, leather-wrapped dashboard and door panels, heated leather sports steering wheel, carbon fibre accents and aluminium pedals.
There are also Quadrifoglio door scuff plates with aluminium inserts, an 8.8-inch multimedia display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ALFA rotary controller, ambient lighting and Quadrifoglio floor mats.
An assortment of safety features is included with autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring and lane departure warning all standard.
The 2019 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio is on sale now priced from $149,900 plus on-road costs.
