Audi Australia has confirmed specs and pricing for the updated 2019 Q5 range which now starts from $65,900 plus on-road costs.
Opening the line-up is the 40 TDI quattro (from $65,900 plus on-roads) which uses a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine producing 140kW and 400Nm.
Moving to the 45 TFSI quattro (from $66,900 plus on-roads) sees the oiler replaced with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine developing 185kW and 370Nm. Both powerplants are matched to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.
Both engines are available in design or sport trim levels. Design variants get new 19-inch alloy wheels, lane-keeping assist, high-beam assist, as well as MMI navigation plus infotainment system.
Sport models feature a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, auto-dimming exterior mirrors, heated front seats and memory function for the driver’s seat.
Every Q5 model now includes wireless smartphone charging and two rear USB charging ports.
The 50 TDI quattro ($84,700 plus on-roads) is powered by a 3.0-litre turbo-diesel engine that delivers 210kW and 620Nm. Additional equipment on the 50 TDI includes a panoramic sunroof, the S line exterior package and Milano leather upholstery.
The flagship SQ5 TFSI ($99,990 plus on-roads) gets 260kW and 500Nm from a turbocharged 3.0-litre petrol engine, along with metallic paint, a panoramic sunroof, a Bang & Olufsen 3D sound system, a head-up display, extended upholstery package and variable front-seat head restraints as standard.
