Australian specifications and pricing have been confirmed for the 2019 Citroen C3 Aircross with the single variant of the small SUV priced from $32,990 plus on-road costs.
The C3 Aircross enters a busy space where it will compete with the Mazda CX-3, Honda HR-V and Hyundai Kona.
Dimensionally, the car measures in at 4154mm long, 1756mm wide and 1637mm high with a 2604mm wheelbase. Citroen is hoping the C3 Aircross will appeal to the fashionistas by pointing out the car’s “unique body styling and striking colour palette giving it an assertive personality.”
Citroen will offer the car in five high contrast and contemporary colour packs, all featuring a two-tone roof with a contrasting highlights package.
Power comes from a 1.2-litre PureTech e-THP 110 turbo-petrol engine producing 81kW and 205Nm. Drive is sent to the front wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission sourced from Aisin. Fuel consumption on the combined cycle comes in at 6.6L/100km.
Equipment highlights include 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, cruise control with speed limiter, automatic air-conditioning, electrochromic rear-view mirror, rain-sensing wipers, front and rear parking sensors, keyless entry and push-button start.
There’s also a 7.0-inch infotainment touchscreen with satellite navigation, digital radio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Safety kit includes autonomous emergency braking with forward collision alert, automatic high-beam, a driver attention alert, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, city park assist, a head-up display, rear-view camera, and speed limit recognition and recommendation.
