Specifications and pricing have been announced for the 2019 Infiniti Q30 and QX30 range, the simplified line-up is now priced from $44,900 plus on-road costs.
To bring the models into line with the recently repositioned Q50 and Q60, Infiniti will now offer the Q30 in Pure and Sport guises, while the QX30 will now be available as a stand-alone Sport variant.
Q30 Pure models will feature a sport grille, sporty front and rear bumpers, black gloss mirror housings, body-coloured side sill extensions, and dark chrome dual exhaust pipes.
Standard equipment will also include LED headlights, high beam assist, an adaptive front-lighting system, lane departure warning and traffic sign recognition.
Heated front seats, a multi-function D-shaped leather steering wheel and Alcantara/leatherette upholstery will be found throughout the cabin.
Stepping up to the Q30 Sport adds adaptive cruise control with speed limiter, intelligent brake assist with distance control, blind spot monitoring, front parking sensors, a 360-degree camera system with moving object detection and intelligent park assist.
Also netted in the Q30 Sport is a 10-speaker Bose premium audio system, automatic dual-zone climate control with rear passenger vents, along with driver and passenger seat memory.
QX30 models build on the Q30 specification by adding fresh 19-inch alloy wheels, intelligent all-wheel drive system, off-road comfort-tuned suspension, comfort seats with adjustable head restraints, and satin chrome plated inserts on the front and rear bumpers with satin chrome roof rails.
Both Q30 and QX30 models now feature a rear-view camera and digital radio (DAB) as standard.
Shared across the Q30 and QX30 range will be a Mercedes-Benz sourced 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, developing 155kW of power at 5500rpm and maximum torque of 350Nm at 1200-4,000rpm.
A seven-speed dual-clutch automatic sends power to the front wheels in the Q30 and all four wheels in the QX30.
Eight colour choices are available across the Q30 and QX30 range including Magnetic Red, Ink Blue, Majestic White, Black, Black Obsidian, Graphite Shadow, Blade Silver and Chestnut Bronze with metallic paint attracting a $1200 premium.
The realignment of models has seen price changes with limited-time drive-away pricing also offered on select grades (see below).
The updated 2019 Infiniti Q30 and QX30 can be ordered now with drive-away pricing valid until July 1, 2019.
