Mahindra has announced specs and pricing for the updated 2019 XUV500 SUV range.
Starting at $26,990 drive-away, the seven-seat SUV gets subtle style changes that include a new front grille, redesigned headlights with daytime running lights and chrome highlights.
Down the back, there’s a new tailgate, rear bumper, combination tail-lights and a larger roof-mounted spoiler that presents a completely new visual signature.
In addition to the exterior changes, Mahindra has revised the suspension – which has been developed in partnership with Lotus – to improve comfort and handling.
Extra damping materials have also been deployed to lower noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) inside the cabin.
The entry-level W6 gets alloy wheels, cruise control, a multi-functional steering wheel, a conversation mirror, rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlights, puddle lamps and automatic climate control air conditioning.
Moving to the W10 version adds a rear-view camera, keyless entry and push-button start, leather trim, a sunroof and a 7.0-inch infotainment touchscreen with satellite navigation and Android Auto.

Buyers can choose from seven colour options - Pearl White, Moondust Silver, Volcano Black, Opulent Purple, Mystic Copper, Crimson Red and Lakeside Brown.
All variants are powered by a 2.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 103kW and 320Nm, it’s paired with a six-speed automatic transmission sourced from Japanese manufacturer Aisin.
Drive is sent to the front axle in the entry models or the brand’s on-demand all-wheel drive system in the range-topping W10 variant.
