Nissan has announced a running change to the Navara ute range for 2019 which includes the addition of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard on select variants.
Using the Series 4 title, the SL, ST and ST-X grades have been updated with a new infotainment system that features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The all-new Alliance In-Vehicle Infotainment (AIVI) system moves to a larger 8.0-inch colour touchscreen with a redesigned user interface and menu. The AIVI system replaces the former 5.0-inch screen on SL models and the 7.0-inch touchscreen in ST and ST-X variants.
AM/FM radio, USB, AUX and Bluetooth functions have all been maintained, while the CD player is no longer offered.
In addition, the SL grade now has satellite navigation integration via device mirroring, while ST and ST-X variants now include a new TomTom sat nav system.
On the outside, 2019 models are differentiated by black headlamp bezels on SL, ST and ST-X grades. The side steps on the ST have also switched to a black finish.
There’s also a new range-topping N-Trek variant priced from $56,450 plus on-road costs with a six-speed manual and $58,950 plus on-road costs for the seven-speed automatic.
The N-Trek gets a host of black accessories including 18-inch alloy wheels, wheel arch extensions, alloy sports bar, LED headlight bezels, front grille, fog-light surrounds, door handles roof rails and rear bumper.
Side steps, the lower front fascia and mirror caps are also finished in black with an orange accent.
On the inside, the N-Trek adds partial leather trim with orange fabric inserts, heated front seats with electric adjustment for the driver and orange accent stitching throughout the cabin.
