Specifications and pricing have been announced for the 2019 Nissan Pathfinder range, there are now four trim levels with prices starting at $43,390 plus on-road costs.
For 2019 the ST+ joins the line-up slotting in above the entry-level ST and below the mid-spec ST-L grade, with the Ti remaining the range-topper.
Enhancements for the base model Pathfinder ST include the addition of autonomous emergency braking with forward collision warning, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert and adaptive cruise control. There’s also a type C USB point for second-row passengers.
Moving to the ST+ grade (from $44,950 plus on-roads) adds a 360-degree around-view monitor with moving object detection, plus satellite navigation.
In addition to equipment found on the ST and ST+ grades, the mid-spec Pathfinder ST-L adds adaptive LED headlights with auto-levelling.
At the pointy end of the line-up, the Pathfinder Ti now features a rear door alert, which notifies the driver if children are left unattended in the vehicle, and heated rear seats.
Powering the Pathfinder is a 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine offering 202kW/340Nm mated with a CVT automatic, with a choice of two-wheel or four-wheel drive. Fuel economy figures start from an improved 9.9L/100km on the combined cycle.
There’s also a supercharged 2.5-litre petrol-electric hybrid system producing of power and 330Nm of torque. Hybrid models exclusively send power to all four wheels with a combined consumption rating of 8.6L/100km.
