Nissan Australia has increased the Qashqai range to four models with the introduction of a new ST+ variant.

Priced from $30,790 plus on-roads, the ST+ sits between the ST and ST-L grades in the range.

Power comes from the same 2.0-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine found across the Qashqai range, it develops 106kW of power and 200Nm of torque. Drive is sent to the front wheels through a CVT automatic.

Over the base ST grade, the ST+ gets a 7.0-inch infotainment touchscreen with digital radio and satellite navigation, a 360-degree camera system with moving object detection, power-fold and heated door mirrors, and privacy glass.

Other equipment highlights include 17-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, an electric park brake, push-button start, cruise control, Bluetooth connectivity, a leather steering wheel, autonomous emergency braking with forward collision warning and lane departure warning.

The 2019 Qashqai range is available now.
