Renault Australia has confirmed the availability of the Trafic Formula Edition which gets additional equipment and a unique styling pack.
The Trafic Formula Edition will be available in White or Storm Grey paint with racy red F1-style side stripe detailing. It will also feature a red front grille finisher, LED DRLs in the lower front valance and fog lights with bright red surrounds.
Black-painted 17-inch ‘Cyclade’ alloy rims, body-coloured bumpers front and rear as well as body-coloured rear corner pillar trim and sliding-door rail surround complete the look.
On the inside, buyers get ‘Java’ dark cloth upholstery, a heated driver’s seat, a premium dashboard with an extra storage compartment, a chrome instrument panel surround, gloss black side air vent surrounds, a leather-trimmed gear shifter and chrome-plated speaker surrounds.
Formula Edition floor mats, a wide-view reversing mirror installed into the passenger sun visor, LED interior lighting, a hands-free entry card and push-button start are also standard.
The equipment list also includes a high-security dead-locking system, climate control air conditioning, a dealer-fitted timber cargo floor and a stainless-steel rear bumper lip.
The 2019 Renault Trafic Formula Edition will be available in short-wheelbase guise from $41,990 plus on-roads and long-wheelbase from $43,490 plus on-roads. It is expected they will arrive in dealerships from this month.
