SsangYong Australia has announced specs and pricing for a pair of Korando Launch Edition models.
Billed as limited editions, the first of the new Korando models will be badged as the ELX LE and Ultimate LE priced from $32,990 and $39,990 drive-away, respectively.
Both models are powered by a 1.6-litre turbo-diesel engine producing 100kW of power and 324Nm of torque mated with an Aisin six-speed automatic transmission. The EXL LE is front-wheel drive only, whilst the Ultimate LE gets all-wheel drive.
Dimensionally, the new Korando is 4410mm long, 1830mm wide and 1675mm high with a 2650mm wheelbase.
Standard kit on the Korando ELX LE includes keyless entry and start, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, an 8.0-inch smart touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers and heated auto-folding side mirrors.
Safety kit includes autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, front collision warning, blind-spot monitoring and a rear-view camera.
Moving to the Ultimate LE adds leather trim, heated and cooled front seats, a heated leather steering wheel, tyre pressure monitoring system, LED headlights, a powered tailgate and dual-zone climate control.
