Australian specs and pricing have been announced for the new 2019 Volvo S60 and V60 models ahead of a local debut in August.

 

At launch, the mid-size S60 and V60 will have two powertrain options - the T5 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine that delivers 187kW and 350Nm, and the T8 Twin

Engine plug-in hybrid (PHEV) that uses a four-cylinder petrol engine and electric motor to produce 311kW and 680Nm. All versions get an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.

 

Volvo will offer the S60 and V60 in the familiar Momentum, Inscription and R-Design trim levels. It should be noted the T8 PHEV is exclusively dressed in R-Design trim. 

 

Price wise, the range opens at $54,990 plus on-road costs for the S60 T5 Momentum and $56,990 plus on-roads for the V60 T5 Momentum.
