The 2020 Audi A6 Allroad 45 TDI quattro is now available in Australia priced from $109,500 plus on-road costs.
Power comes from a 3.0-litre six-cylinder turbo-diesel engine producing 183kW and 600Nm, it’s matched to an eight-speed automatic transmission that sends drive to Audi’s quattro all-wheel drive system.
Audi claims the A6 Allroad can reach 100km/h from rest in just 6.5 seconds while consuming 6.6L/100km.
Adaptive air suspension that adjusts the height of the vehicle for alternating ground clearance levels, dependent on the road speed and choice of driving mode is standard. The system allows the ground clearance to be raised to 184mm.
Standard kit includes Matrix LED headlights, 20-inch Audi Sport alloy wheels, an electric tailgate with gesture control, illuminated door sill trims, heated sports front seats, Valcona leather upholstery with contrasting stitching, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, three-zone climate control, stainless steel pedals, a frameless auto-dimming interior mirror, wireless smartphone charging and four USB outlets.
The new dual-touchscreen (10.1-inch and 8.6-inch) MMI Navigation infotainment system is also standard and features Audi connect plus, Android Auto and wireless Apple Carplay. The 12.3-inch Audi virtual cockpit (digital instrument cluster) is also included.
Adaptive cruise assist with stop & go and traffic assist, a 360-degree camera system with kerb view function, Audi side assist with rear cross-traffic assist, collision avoidance assist and turn assist (AEB), intersection assist, exit warning, active bonnet, a head-up display, illuminated seat belt buckles and loose wheel detection are all standard.
Audi will also offer a Premium plus package (from $8900) for the Allroad that brings rear privacy glass, HD Matrix LED headlights, electric steering column adjustment, panoramic glass sunroof, Bang & Olufsen 3D sound system, four-zone climate control, LED colour interior lighting package and a choice of two 21-inch alloy wheel options.
Along with the Allroad, the A6 40 TFSI sedan has also joined the range priced from $85,500 plus on-roads. Power comes from a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine producing 140kW and 320Nm, it’s matched to a seven-speed automatic that drives the rear wheels.
Equipment highlights include 19-inch alloy wheels, Matrix LED headlights, heated front seats, the MMI navigation with MMI touch response infotainment system (10.1-inch and 8.6-inch touchscreens), Audi’s virtual cockpit, Audi connect plus, wireless charging and four USB outlets.
