Bentley has revealed the new Bentayga Speed ahead of its public debut at the Geneva motor show in March.
Power comes from the brand’s twin-turbocharged 6.0-litre W12 engine which develops 467kW of power and 900Nm of torque. An eight-speed automatic sends torque to Bentley’s all-wheel drive system with electronic differential lock.
The British marque claims the Bentayga Speed is the world’s fastest production SUV. It can sprint from 0 to 100km/h in 3.9 seconds on its way to a top speed of 306km/h.
Styling changes that differentiate the Speed from the wider range include dark-tinted headlights and tail-lights, dark grille, body-coloured side skirts, a tailgate spoiler, unique 22-inch wheel design and Speed signature badging.
Inside, the Bentayga Speed gets crafted ‘swooshes’ around the door cards, seat cushions, backrest bolsters and on the lower console. There’s also new contrast stitching on the diamond quilting, Speed badging and a Speed illuminated treadplate signature. Alcantara will also be used for the first time in a Bentayga.
The Bentayga Speed will be revealed in the metal at Geneva with deliveries set to commence later this year.
