Only one day after the new 2020 BMW 1 Series hatch was revealed, the Bavarian marque’s M division has detailed a range of M Performance Parts that will accompany the car’s European launch.
The M Performance Parts range consists of exterior and interior accessories that according to BMW enhance the car’s sporty appearance and dynamic potential.
Buyers can opt for 18- or 19-inch alloy wheels, 18-inch M Performance sports brakes with four-piston aluminium calipers up front and single-piston floating calipers at the rear, and LED door lights that project the M Performance motif onto the ground.
There’s also carbon-fibre wing mirrors and rear diffuser, while the front splitter, sill extensions and rear wing are finished in gloss black.
For the inside, the M range includes the M Performance steering wheel with an Alcantara grip area, red marking at the 12 o’clock position and carbon-fibre trim insert. Additionally, models equipped with an automatic transmission can add carbon-fibre shift paddles.
Finally, there is a set of velvet velour floor mats with embroidered M Performance inscription, contrasting seam and a pennant in the M colours. BMW says along with being tailored they are non-slip and high-grip.
BMW Australia is yet to confirm the availability of the M Performance Parts for the new 1 Series. Stay tuned.
