BMW Australia has further expanded the M Pure range with confirmation the M135i xDrive Pure and M235i xDrive Pure will be available locally in the third quarter of 2020.
 
The M135i xDrive Pure is priced from $63,990 plus on-road costs, while the M235i xDrive Pure starts from $67,990 plus on-roads making each model $5000 cheaper than the standard versions.
 
As standard, Pure models get a limited-slip differential on the front axle, M Sport steering, 19-inch alloy wheels, M Sport brakes with blue-painted calipers, keyless entry and start, electric M Sport seats with driver memory function, dual-zone climate and cloth/Alcantara upholstery.
 
BMW’s Driving Assistant is also included which brings autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane change warning, rear cross-traffic warning, rear collision prevention and speed limit information. A head-up display is also standard.
 
When compared to the standard models, Pure variants only omit the panorama glass sunroof, adaptive LED headlights, high-beam assist, Dakota leather upholstery and a harman/kardon surround sound system.
 
Both Pure models are powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine producing 225kW and 450Nm. An eight-speed automatic sends power to the adaptive M xDrive all-wheel drive system.
