Specifications and pricing have been announced for the 2020 BMW X1 range which starts at $44,500 plus on-road costs.
The latest incarnation of the X1 range will sport a new single-piece kidney grille, redesigned front apron and hexagonal LED headlights. Adaptive LED headlights including anti-dazzle matrix high-beam function will also be available as part of the Driver Assistant Package.
Other features include a larger exhaust diameter (90mm) and full LED rear L shaped lights. As part of the lights package, a welcome greeting with the X1 logo projected onto the ground is also included as standard on sDrive20i and sDrive25i models. This is also available for sDrive18i and sDrive18d models as part of the Convenience Package.
Internally the new X1’s boot capacity remains the same at 505 litres which can be expanded up to 1550 litres via 40/20/40 rear folding seats. The sDrive20i and xDrive25i models also get an automatic tailgate.
Also available inside the cabin is the navigation system displayed on an 8.8-inch touchscreen display in the sDrive18i and sDrive18d. Navigation Plus is standard for sDrive20i and xDrive25i model with a 10.25-inch touchscreen and head-up display.

The sDrive18d uses a four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine developing 110kW and 330Nm, which is also sent to the front wheels.
The front-wheel drive theme continues with the sDrive20i which gets a four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 141kW and 280Nm.
