Following recent updates to the Ranger 4x4 XL, XLS and XLT models, Ford has announced changes to the high-spec Wildtrak and Raptor variants.

 

For 2020, both the Wildtrak and Raptor now feature the FordPass Connect tech which allows owners access to remote vehicle functions via a smartphone app.

 

Along with the app, pearlescent Alabaster White paint has been added to the options list.

 

Ford also confirmed the Wildtrak X special edition will return to the line-up following its success last year.

 

The updated Wildtrak X gets new bi-LED projector headlights in place of the old halogen units. Ford claims the new lights provide a 17 per cent better lighting improvement.

 

Also added for 2020 is a power roller shutter, it can be activated via a dash-mounted switch or the key fob.

 

Wildtrak X variants also feature 18-inch alloy wheels with +35 offset in a matte black finish, black fender flares, a black nudge bar with LED light bar, an A-pillar-mounted snorkel and a dark-finished grille, lower bumper area and door handles.

 

Ford says the Wildtrak X offers over $6000 added value for a $2000 premium over the regular Wildtrak.
