Isuzu has announced the availability of the new range-topping MU-X Onyx Edition priced from $56,990 drive-away.
Based on the 4x4 LS-T variant, the MU-X Onyx Edition gets an upgraded 6.8-inch infotainment system featuring satellite navigation, DAB+ radio, Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay. It’s the first time Isuzu has offered smartphone mirroring on the MU-X.
On the outside, the Onyx Edition is distinguished by shadow chrome treatments across the front grille and tailgate, gloss black accents and a restyled lower front chin spoiler.
Additional equipment also includes dusk-sensing headlights.
Keyless entry and push-button start, leather-accented seat trim, a roof-mounted 10-inch DVD screen, 8-speaker audio system and three USB ports are carried over from the LS-T.
Buyers have a choice of two exterior colours: Silky White Pearl and Obsidian Grey Mica.
Power comes from the 3.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine which produces 130kW and 430Nm, it’s matched to a six-speed Aisin automatic transmission that sends drive to all four wheels.
Initially, Isuzu will limit the availability of the MU-X Onyx Edition to 420 units.
