Mazda Australia has announced updates to the 2020 MX-5 range ahead of a local arrival early next year.
The iconic roadster will feature the brand’s next-generation design language along with the option of Polymetal Grey Metallic exterior paint which was introduced on the latest Mazda 3.
On the inside, buyers of the RF GT variants gain Burgundy Nappa leather punctuated with a light grey stitch, whilst Tan and Black leather options have been added to the rest of the line-up. GT models also get new stainless steel scuff plates.
All variants will feature restyled Mazda badging and a new-look key fob.
The 1.5-litre 97kW/152Nm naturally-aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine will be carried over, as will the 135kW/205Nm 2.0-litre unit.
Both engines are available with either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission.
The updated 2020 Mazda MX-5 will go on sale in Australia in early 2020 with full specifications and pricing to be confirmed closer to the launch date. Stay tuned.
