Specs and pricing for the updated 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander range have been announced, the popular medium SUV now starts at $29,490 plus on-road costs.
For the MY20 range, Mitsubishi will offer three grades - ES, LS and Exceed - in five- and seven-seat configurations.
Equipment highlights on the entry-level ES variant include monotone 18-inch alloy wheels, a new 8.0-inch infotainment touchscreen monitor, autonomous emergency braking, rain-sensing wipers, dusk-sensing headlamps and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.
Also added is power lumbar adjustment for the driver, redesigned second-row seats with improved cushioning and a rear USB charging port. There has also been a rearrangement of the overhead console which now incorporates a sunglasses holder, seatbelt reminder and passenger airbag cut-off indicator.
Moving to the LS brings microsuede seat trim with synthetic leather bolsters as well as piano black and silver pinstripe door and dash trims.
Top-spec Exceed variants now feature Mitsubishi’s Super All Wheel Control (S-AWC) system, speed limit information as part of the satellite navigation and black leather trim with carbon-fibre design and silver pinstripe door and dash trims.
All variants will be available in White, Starlight, Sterling Silver, Titanium, Black, Ironbark and Red Diamond.
The 2.0- and 2.4-litre petrol engines and the 2.2-litre diesel unit are carried over and matched with either a five-speed manual, CVT or six-speed automatic transmission.
The 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander range is available in dealerships across the country now.
