The 2020 Nissan 370Z 50th Anniversary Edition has been revealed which pays homage to the #46 BRE (Brock Racing Enterprises) Datsun 240Z.

The 50th Anniversary model is differentiated from the standard 370Z by a livery that mimics the original BRE race car. Two different paint schemes - white with red accents or silver with black accents – will be available with the vehicle also sporting two signature stripes on the side of the car.

The painted boot, bonnet, side mirrors and A-pillars will be in the accent colour (red for the white car and black for the silver car) with a thin line running along the side of the car from the headlight to the rear glass.

50th Anniversary identification can be found on the front fender with anniversary badging at the rear and special 19-inch alloy wheels with red accents.

Standard kit includes automatic HID bi-functional xenon “boomerang shape” headlights, LED daytime running lamps and a unique front bumper design. At the rear is integrated boomerang taillights, rear spoiler and flared fenders.

Internally a driver-focused layout includes an Alcantara steering wheel with a red centre mark, leather and suede seat trim, powered seats, 50th Anniversary logos embossed into the backrests and a Bose audio system.

Power comes from the famed 3.7-litre V6 petrol engine which develops 250kW and 366Nm, it’s mated with a six-speed manual gearbox with a synchronised downshift rev-matching system that sends power to the rear wheels. A seven-speed automatic with paddle shifters and adaptive shift control is also available.

The car sits on RAYS 19-inch alloy wheels wearing Bridgestone Potenza S007 sports hoops that cover the 355mm front and 350mm rear disc brakes with four-piston front and two-piston rear calipers.

Underpinning the car is fine-tuned double-wishbone front suspension that uses lightweight forged aluminium arms, a lightweight rigid aluminium-alloy cradle, and a hollow construction stabiliser bar.

The 2020 Nissan 370Z 50th Anniversary Edition is set to arrive Down Under from the latter half of the year with pricing still to be confirmed. Stay tuned!
