Ram Trucks Australia has confirmed the 1500 Express Crew V8 Hemi will join the local range priced from $89,950 plus on-road costs.
The 1500 Express Crew V8 Hemi will sit between the entry-level 1500 Express and the flagship Laramie.
Most noteworthy is the 1500 Express Crew truck features the larger cabin found on the Laramie, meaning more head, shoulder and legroom, along with larger rear doors.
Additional equipment over the Express model includes dual-zone air conditioning and the 8.4-inch Uconnect infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Down the back, the 5ft 7in tub with a spray-in bed liner is standard. Buyers can option the clever RamBox Cargo Management System.
The 1500 Express Crew is further differentiated by a sports hood, black accent package and unique limited-edition colours: Diamond Black, Bright White, Granite Crystal and Flame Red.
Power comes from the 5.7-litre V8 Hemi engine producing 291kW and 556Nm. The maximum braked towing capacity is 4.5 tonnes.
Ram is on a roll in Australia with the brand passing several milestones last year. In total, Ram delivered 2868 vehicles in 2019 – up 296.7 per cent on the previous year.
