Local specs and pricing have been announced for the updated 2020 Renault Koleos range which now starts at $32,990 plus on-road costs.
The refreshed Koleos is distinguished by a more pronounced front grille, a new front bumper, new chrome trim, larger front and rear skid plates, LED fog lamps, repositioned upper brake light and new two-tone alloy wheel designs. There’s also a new Millesim Red metallic paint option.
On the inside, buyers get more soft-touch materials, revised satin trim inserts, a two-stage reclining seatback for rear passengers and Renault’s R-LINK 2 touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay displayed on both the 7.0- and 8.7-inch displays.
Entry-level Life models (from $32,490 plus on-roads) are equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers, dual-zone climate control, autonomous emergency braking and lane-departure warning.
Stepping up to the Zen variant ($35,990 plus on-roads) adds larger 18-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry and start, faux leather trim, heated front seats, front and side parking sensors, and an electric parking brake.
The flagship Intens model (from $42,990 plus on-roads) adds 19-inch alloy wheels, the larger 8.7-inch infotainment touchscreen, a Bose surround sound system, leather trim, ventilated front seats, rear USB ports and a powered tailgate. There’s also the option of all-wheel drive (from $45,990 plus on-roads).
There is no longer a diesel option, all variants are powered by a naturally-aspirated 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine producing 126kW and 226Nm. It’s matched with a CVT automatic transmission.
