Specs and pricing have been announced for the 2020 Renault Master van range ahead of a local arrival in March.
Renault will offer the Master with a choice of wheelbase options including short (SWB), medium (MWB), long (LWB) and bus. The Master’s height depends on the length of the wheelbase.
The new Master is distinguished by a C-shaped lighting signature, an elevated bonnet line, an updated front grille with a new logo holder, chrome-finish grid and strip.
On the inside, there’s a new dashboard with larger storage compartments, chrome accents, a new steering wheel, an updated instrument binnacle with a new rev-counter and monochrome 3.5-inch digital screen, a new black and chrome gear shifter, better quality upholstery and a 7.0-inch infotainment touchscreen with satellite navigation Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Renault says cabin storage now equates to 105 litres which includes the now standard under-bench storage compartment. The load area has also been equipped with new LED lighting.
All Master variants are powered by a 2.3-litre turbocharged diesel engine. Models with a six-speed automatic transmission get a single-turbocharged engine producing 110kW and 350Nm, while a twin-turbocharged version is matched to the six-speed manual to deliver 120kW and 360Nm.
