Toyota Australia has confirmed specs and pricing for the new Corolla Sedan ahead of a showroom arrival in late November.
The Corolla Sedan will be offered in three grades - Ascent Sport, SX and ZR - with the new petrol-electric hybrid option available on the Ascent Sport and SX variants.
Pricing mirrors that of the hatch, meaning the range opens at $23,335 plus on-roads for the Ascent Sport manual.
All three grades are available with the new 2.0-litre 125kW/200Nm naturally-aspirated petrol engine. The base car is the only choice for those wanting the six-speed manual, all other grades come standard with a CVT automatic.
Hybrid models use a 1.8-litre petrol engine and a pair of small electric motors to output 90kW of power. Toyota claims a combined fuel consumption figure of 3.5L/100km.
Ascent Sport models feature automatic LED headlights, tail-lights and daytime running lights, alloy wheels, and the latest generation 8.0-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Hybrid versions of the Ascent Sport also feature keyless entry and push-button start as standard.
The Toyota Safety Sense package with autonomous emergency braking with daytime and nighttime pedestrian and daytime cyclist detection, road sign assist, auto high-beam, active cruise control and lane-keeping assist is also included.
Moving up into the mid-range variant SX adds a premium three-spoke steering wheel with paddle shifters, wireless smartphone charging, satellite navigation, DAB digital radio and blind-spot monitoring.
The petrol-only ZR gets a tilt and slide moonroof, 18-inch alloy wheels, sports seats trimmed in faux leather and suede, heated front seats with eight-way power adjustment for the driver, an electrochromatic rear-view mirror, a head-up disply and a and premium nine-speaker JBL sound system.
