Toyota Australia has announced a limited-run of the LandCruiser 200 Sahara Horizon edition will be available to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the moniker.

The LandCruiser 200 Sahara Horizon is limited to 400 units nationally and priced from $129,090 plus on-road costs.

Differentiating the Horizon variant from the regular Sahara is a unique grille with a dark finish, black headlight and smoked chrome front foglight surrounds, semi-aniline leather-accented seats with unique stitching and "LandCruiser" embossed into the backrest, and a black leather-accented heated steering wheel.

Buyers also get bespoke door trim stitching, a black headliner with chrome accents, Horizon badging and the LandCruiser logo displayed in the front and rear puddle lamps.

Equipment carried over from the LC200 Sahara includes LED lights, side steps, 18-inch alloy wheels, a moonroof, power-adjustable heated and ventilated front seats, four-zone climate control, a multi-terrain monitor, premium audio system, rear-seat DVD player, and satellite navigation.

Autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian detection, active cruise control, automatic high-beam, a rear-view camera, front and rear parking sensors, blind-spot monitor and rear cross-traffic alert are also standard.

Power comes from the familiar 4.5-litre turbo-diesel V8, it’s matched to a six-speed automatic transmission with low range gearing that drives all four wheels.
