Specs and pricing have been confirmed for the 2020 Volkswagen Golf range with the marque moving to permanent drive-away pricing for the final year of the ‘Mk 7.5’ line-up.
For those holding out for the new Mk 8 Golf, Volkswagen has announced it will be available in the fourth quarter of 2020 followed by the new Golf R in early 2021.
The range opens with the 110TSI Trendline manual which is priced at $24,990 drive-away and tops out at $57,990 drive-away for the range-topping Golf R wagon.

Diesel is on the outer (as is becoming the norm in the segment), the Highline and Alltrack Premium oilers have been dumped.
Every Golf model is backed by a five-year, unlimited kilometre warranty with the option of the new Volkswagen Care Plan that provides fixed price servicing for three or five years with free roadside assist for the designated period.
A three year Volkswagen Care Plan equates to $1100 for most of the Golf range and $1350 for the GTI and R variants; or $1900 and $2350 over a five-year plan.
