Full details for the updated 2021 Alfa Romeo Stelvio SUV range have been announced as cars begin arriving in dealerships.
The base model Stelvio is priced from $64,950 plus on-road costs, however, it won't be in showrooms. Alfa Romeo says the entry car will be special order only making the new Stelvio Sport model (priced from $69,950 plus on-roads) the starter car.
For 2021, buyers get an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7.0-inch driver information display in the instrument cluster, a revised central console, more accessible storage compartments, wireless smartphone charging, a leather-wrapped gear selector and a restyled steering wheel.
Safety also gets a boost with active blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, traffic jam assist, highway assist, and a driver attention monitor included as standard across the range.
From the Sport model up, adaptive cruise control and traffic sign recognition are also included.

Powering the base and Sport grades is a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine producing 147kW of power and 330Nm of torque.
The Stelvio Veloce has the same size engine but it’s tuned to develop 206kW and 400Nm.
Flagship Quadrifoglio variants use a 2.9-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine producing 375kW of power and 600Nm of torque.
Every Stelvio is equipped with an eight-speed torque-converter automatic transmission and all-wheel drive as standard.
Performance-wise, the Sport does the 0-100km/h dash in 7.2 seconds, while the Stelvio Veloce takes 5.7 seconds and the Stelvio Quadrifoglio takes 3.8 seconds.
