Australian specs and pricing have been announced for the 2021 Audi Q2 range ahead of a local arrival in May.
Distinguishing the updated model are tweaked front and rear bumpers, a lower Singleframe grille, a revised LED daytime-running light signature, standard LED headlights and a new rear diffuser insert.
On the inside, changes have been kept to a minimum with only the air vents and the gear selector being updated.
The Q2 35 TFSI is now powered by a new 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder that produces 110kW of power and 250Nm of torque. It’s matched to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.
Moving to the mid-grade 40 TFSI nets a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with 140kW of power and 320Nm of torque. It also gets a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic that sends power to the quattro all-wheel drive system.
Power in the flagship SQ2 comes from a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine producing 221kW and 400Nm. A seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission sends drive to all four corners.
Audi claims the SQ2 can sprint from 0-100km/h in 4.9 seconds with the top speed electronically limited to 250km/h.
