Specs and pricing have been confirmed for the 2021 Genesis G80 ahead of a local arrival next month.
The range opens with the G80 2.5T which is priced from $84,900 plus on-road costs. Power comes from a 2.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine producing 224kW of power and 422Nm of torque. It’s mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and rear wheel drive.
Range-topping G80 3.5T variants ($99,900 plus on-roads) get a twin-turbocharged 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine developing 279kW of power and 530Nm of torque. It’s also hooked up to an eight-speed automatic but it sends power to all four wheels.
Dimensionally, the new G80 measures 4995mm long, 1925mm wide and 1465mm tall with a 3010mm wheelbase. The luggage capacity is listed at 424L.
G80 2.5T variants come standard with leather upholstery, real wood trim, a 14.5-inch HD touchscreen, 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres, a panorama sunroof, and a powered hands-free boot.
Moving to the 3.5T adds adaptive suspension and 20-inch alloy wheels.
