Luxury maker Genesis has officially revealed the new GV70 SUV which will slot underneath the larger GV80.
Externally, the GV70 gets the familiar crest grille, quad lamp headlights and tail-lights, skid plates on the bottom of the bumpers, an arching Parabolic Line running along the side, a unique vertical shaped muffler, and a body-coloured diffuser.
On the inside, the layout is similar to that of the GV80 with inspiration taken from the aerodynamic sections of aircraft wings.
Genesis has also confirmed the Sport model will get a bespoke front bumper, 21-inch wheels, dark chrome garnishes, a large diameter exhaust, exclusive cabin colours and trim, a sport steering wheel and carbon-fibre appointed consoles and doors.
At this stage, powertrain details haven’t been announced, however, expect to see turbocharged petrol and diesel engines with four- and six-cylinders.
Like the larger GV80, the GV70 will be based on the brand’s rear-wheel-drive platform with an all-wheel drive option available.
Locally, Genesis is yet to confirm when the GV70 will arrive in Oz.
