Australian specs and pricing for the new Genesis GV80 SUV have been announced ahead of its official launch in October.
Pricing for the GV80 starts from $90,600 plus on-road costs for the 2.5T and tops out at $108,600 plus on-roads for the range-topping 3.5T AWD variant.
The entry-level rear-wheel drive GV80 2.5T is powered by a 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine producing 224kW and 422Nm.
For an additional $5000, buyers can get the 2.5T with all-wheel drive and a third row of seating.
The GV80 3.0D AWD models use a 3.0-litre inline-six turbo-diesel that develops 204kW of power and 588Nm of torque.
Range-topping 3.5T AWD varinats are powered by a turbocharged 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine that offers 279kW and 530Nm.
Every GV80 puts the power down throught an eight-speed automatic transmission, while the 3.0D and 3.5T also get an e-LSD electro-mechanical limited-slip differential.
All powertrains have a braked towing capacity of 2722kg and an 80-litre fuel tank.
Size-wise, the GV80 measures 4945mm long, 1715mm tall and 1975mm wide, with a 2955mm wheelbase. The boot capacity is 727L with the third row folded flat.
All models get the Genesis Active Safety Control suite as standard, it includes autonomous emergency braking with forward-collision warning, pedestrian and cyclist detection, a junction turning and crossing function, and evasive steering assist.
Blind-spot monitoring, a driver attention warning, lane-following assist, lane-keeping assist, rear cross-traffic alert, safe exit assist and 10 airbags including a front centre side airbag are also included across the range.

The GV80 can be seen at the Genesis Studio in Sydney with customer deliveries set to commence in October.
