Details for the updated 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe have been released with the latest incarnation of the seven-seat SUV priced from $44,700 plus on-road costs.
For 2021, the Santa Fe features additional tech and safety, tweaked styling and updated powertrains across the four-variant range.
The four grades: Santa Fe, Active, Elite and Highlander are all distinguished by a wide cascading grille with a stacked headlight design and new alloy wheels.
Internally the flagship Highlander also gets an upgrade to the cabin with Nappa leather, brushed aluminium inlays and a suede headlining.

Buyers can still choose from two engines starting with a 200kW/330Nm 3.5-litre petrol V6, mated with an eight-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.
There’s also a 148kW/440Nm 2.2-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel unit, it’s paired with a new eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
Dimensionally, the updated Santa Fe measures 4785mm long, 1900mm wide and 1685mm tall, with a 2765mm wheelbase. That makes it 15mm longer, 10mm wider, and 5mm taller than its predecessor.
The braked towing capacity is 2500kg with a 200kg downball limit.
