Australian specs and pricing have been announced for the 2021 Jeep Gladiator Sport S ahead of a showroom arrival later this month.

 

The Gladiator Sport S will be the new entry point to the Gladiator range and as such is priced from $65,450 plus on-road costs. For context, that’s $10,000 less than the now mid-spec Overland model.

 

Power comes from the 209kW/347Nm 3.6-litre naturally-aspirated petrol V6 found across the range, it’s matched to an eight-speed automatic transmission.

 

The Gladiator Sport S also gets the Selec-Trac Active On-Demand 4x4 system with full and part-time 4x4 modes, heavy-duty Dana front and rear axles, underbody skid plates, heavy-duty rock rails and a 47.8:1 crawl ratio.

 

Further equipment highlights include autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control with stop & go, blind-spot monitoring,  rear cross-traffic alert, front and rear parking sensors, and a rear-view camera.

 

Also standard are keyless entry and start, an Alpine premium sound system, a 7.0-inch infotainment touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a 7.0-inch digital instrument display, black cloth seats, dual-zone climate control, 17-inch silver aluminium wheels, automatic LED headlights, tail-lights, daytime-running lights and fog lights, a black three-piece 'Freedom' hard-top roof and black fender flares.
