Specs and pricing for the updated 2021 Land Rover Discovery range ahead of a showroom arrival early next year.
The entry-level Discovery S D300 is priced from $99,900 plus on-road costs representing a $27,000 increase when compared to the previous base model. Land Rover says the car has received $32,000 worth of extra kit.

For 2021, the turbo-diesel four-cylinder engine has been dropped, instead, Land Rover will offer D300 variants with a 3.0-litre straight-six turbo-diesel with 48V mild-hybrid technology to produce 221kW and 650Nm.
The P360 3.0-litre straight-six turbocharged petrol with 48V mild-hybrid tech is the other option, it develops 265kW and 500Nm.
Both engines are matched with an eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive as standard.
Externally, the updated Discovery is distinguished by new LED headlights with a lower set daytime running lights, a revised front bumper and tweaked LED tail-lights.
On the inside, the Discovery gets the brand’s new Pivi Pro infotainment system shown on an 11.4-inch touchscreen. The system is faster thanks to a separate battery, it’s ready to use as soon as it’s switched on.
Software updates are available over-the-air via an embedded data connection. Owners will be able to update maps and add vehicle features without having to visit a dealer.
Both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included as standard, two phones can be connected at once: one for phone calls, and another for media.
The Discovery will also be available with the brand’s second-generation Activity Key wristband and an all-new cabin air filtration system that can trap fine particulate matter.
