LDV has announced specs and pricing for its new Deliver 9 van range.
At launch, LDV will offer the Deliver 9 van with either a standard wheelbase and mid roof, or a long wheelbase and either a mid or high roof.
The Deliver 9 also puts LDV in the minibus market, with medium and long-wheelbase models with 11 and 14 seats, respectively. Both wheelbases are available with either a mid roof or high roof.
Power comes from a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine producing 110kW and 375Nm with automatic stop/start technology, it’s matched with either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic that drive the rear wheels.
The big news is autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning, a full gamut of airbags, and Bosch’s latest-generation Electronic Stability Control system are included as standard. Models with an automatic transmission also get adaptive cruise control.
Standard equipment includes a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, a rear-view camera, rear parking sensors, air-conditioning, power windows, an eight-way adjustable driver’s seat, eight recessed tie-down points, non-slip entry steps, LED cargo bay lighting, passenger’s side sliding door, 180-degree rear barn doors and 16-inch steel wheels.
An Option Pack is available for $1500 which adds blind-spot monitoring, proximity entry with push-button start and 236-degree rear barn doors.
The Deliver 9 will also be the first LDV to offer capped-price servicing, with the total cost listed at $1895 over the first three years or 95,000km. The warranty is shorter than rivals at three years/160,000km.
