Specs and pricing have been announced for the 2021 Porsche Cayenne GTS and Cayenne GTS Coupe ahead of a local arrival in the fourth quarter of this year.

Prices start at $192,900 plus on-road costs for the Cayenne GTS and $198,200 plus on-roads for the Cayenne GTS Coupe.

Power comes from a 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine that develops 338kW and 620Nm, which equates to 14kW and 20Nm more than its predecessor. An eight-speed automatic transmission sends power to all four wheels.

Both GTS models sprint from 0-100km/h in 4.5 seconds with the Sport Chrono package (optional on Cayenne GTS, standard on Cayenne GTS Coupe) and have a top speed of 270km/h.

As standard, the GTS gets a high frequency-tuned sports exhaust, three-chamber adaptive air suspension lowers the car by 10mm and includes Porsche Active Suspension Management, Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) and 21-inch RS Spyder Design wheels.

LED headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), a dark tinted LED tail-light bar, and black finished front air intakes, side window trims, tailpipes and logos are also included.

Buyers can option Porsche Surface Coated Brake (PSCB) with tungsten carbide coating, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB), rear-axle steering and the Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) active roll stabilisation system.

On the inside, Alcantara is used for the roof lining, seat centre panels, centre console armrests and doors. There’s also dark-brushed aluminium trim.

Further equipment highlights include a panoramic glass roof, unique GTS eight-way sports seats, a 90-litre fuel tank, 20-inch collapsible spare wheel, metallic paint, privacy glass, automatically dimming mirrors, driver memory package, side airbags in the rear compartment, front seat heating, comfort access, lane change assist, a 360-degree camera, a head-up display, digital radio and Bose surround sound system.

Both Porsche Cayenne GTS models are available to order and will arrive locally in the fourth quarter of 2020.
